Not being on the screen for years, Gareth now came back with his third album. Unlike his previous work pieces, I am not only surprised but happy since he is still that enthusiastic about music but became more mature than before.
In this album, he had tried many different music elements. Some are soul and some are rock. Still some combine these two and even more.
The first single 'Changes ' talks about the lifestyle between he and his friends around which made changes on them. For myself, I really get touched when I listen to this since it speaks out what I have , what I suffer , and what I want to say deep in my mind.
The second single is 'Angel on my shoulder.' It talks about that we have to feel confident and optimistic when we are in the down times. And we have to believe that there will be someone who love us , encourage us , and is always by our side.
Still others like 'Electric' which he wrote with Ricky Ross is somewhat pop rock. And I have found something interesting in this album. That is Gareth repeated some particular words in some song. This is kind of strange to me at first but rather interesting later.
All in all , I just want to say that despite some negative news spread over and the rank on the chart , I am sure you will touch everyone with your voice and I will be there for you. Keep on the good work and make more music to share with the world.
